Small changes make a lot of difference

Spread the love

Today morning I woke up bit early and I thought to get ready for my gym. I saw my house once clearly. I saw a lot of bottles scattered, papers on floor, cd here and there scattered all over the place. The house resembles a place where the party is finished and the party hall is left without cleaning. Then I went off for my daily exercise and I returned back with my milk packet. While I was boiling the milk I found the kitchen is also no where clean, then I went and saw my bed room it’s more horrible. I thought to my self, if I was responsible I would have managed all this much better than what it is now.

I finished drinking coffee and eating breakfast. I was trying to fix my computer as it was attacked by a virus and finally I cracked it. I put on some music and left computer for scanning again. I started off from the kitchen I cleaned it completely and threw all unwanted covers, match sticks, rotten vegetables etc. I came to hall I saw my clothes on chair and floor I folded all of them and put them in to their respective places. Then I went to my bed room I folded the bed sheets. And removed all clothes for ironing, placed them in a cover and left them in a corner.

The house looked more clean and pleasant. In fact I found lot of difference in the atmosphere suddenly, and then I remembered my mom saying if house is clean there will be lot of positive energy. It’s true and tomorrow I will be cleaning my computer and other shelves. I decided one thing from that minute that I will clean my house daily in spite of servant doing all that. It gave me an immense satisfaction and I learned lot of new things.

By the way it did not even take more than 40 minutes to do all that work. I was surprised myself when I saw the time. It just takes very less time and I am dam lazy to do all this. I don’t think it’s called laziness there is something more than it. I will talk about it in my next posts.

If only we can see, that these kinds of small changes will also bring lot of difference in life and the way we live, think, do things etc.

What you mom said is absolutely true! Cleanliness has to come from within only then you will cherish every bit of doing things which are a kind of mundane for many. Good lesson Raghav. At least I keep my work place very clean neatly arranged, that motivates me to do things better with efficient time… It is the habit I would say!

Yes Mohan some times we don’t even obbserve these kind of small changes can bring lot of difference. We start liking our selves if we can do all these small things and yes i do keep my place clean but some times unknowingly i may miss some things here and there.

There is a sub concious voice which is more dangerous which is called lazy ness by world.. If we can just pull our strength for that one minute we are done with our work.

Usually people get this wisdom of keeping house clean and keeping things in their proper place etc., after they get married and their children start messing their home!
Good that you realised it much earlier!

it is always good to allow your kids to mess and play. it gives them a immense happiness and satisfaction. i love that childish mentality and in fact i keep my house clean and when i feel like i don’t keep things organized for days together. people have different views on this and i came to know when i shared my room.

allow the kids to mess up things and then teach them how to clean also. What do you say?
