Paying Kindness Forward

Spread the love

Recently, I had a heartwarming experience that I want to share with all of you. Some time ago, I met someone on a social app called Club House who was going through a tough time trying to find a job. Meanwhile, I had faced a few disappointing situations where people I referred for jobs took advantage of me, causing me stress and affecting my well-being. I decided not to get deeply involved in such situations again.

But when I met Shruti, who was also in need of a job, I couldn’t resist helping her. I connected her with my childhood friend, Sai, who works in a similar field. After a few months, I started hearing wonderful things about Shruti’s progress.

This morning, I received a touching message from Shruti that moved me deeply.

Hi Raghavendra, I am reading an autobiography of sir Fali S. Nariman.

He writes “whether you believe in destiny or God or not, be sure that some stranger, some unknown person, at one time or another, will give you a helping hand as you journey along on the rough roads of life.”

I know it is a simple phrase but it hit me so hard and your name stuck my mind when I read it. I will forever be grateful to you for introducing me to Sai. You are very kind❤️

It reminded me of the power of kindness and the difference we can make in each other’s lives.

I’ve been fortunate to receive help from others throughout my life, which contributed to my success. So, I always try to give back and help others whenever I can, be it individuals, causes, or communities.

Shruti’s message truly made my day and reminded me of the importance of lending a helping hand. Have you had a similar experience? Share your stories in the comments section. Let’s keep spreading kindness and supporting one another.
