Marketing Made Easy With Internet

Spread the love

I think it’s the time I write some thing about my earlier profession “Online Marketing”. Even though I am not doing it for full time I am trying to keep myself updated about the industry. Late recently I saw that people are moving from traditional advertising to internet advertising. This is due to many reasons. Internet has given the power to reach millions with the click of a button. There is lot of future for the growth of internet and the businesses running using this as a platform.

Since I am not going to talk about tutorials of internet marketing I will briefly tell about it. There is paid and free traffic, traffic refers to visitors. People must concentrate on free one, than paid one. In this article I will take you through of creating massive traffic using a video and couple of social media tricks.

Don’t panic making a video is as simple as eating a chocolate with the kind of technology available. If you have some cool pictures and would like to make them a video you are done. Go to www.animoto.com and then signup. With your free account you can make a video which runs for 30 seconds. Add the pictures and music, then let Animoto do its job. A cool video is ready in fraction of seconds or in few minutes.

Just take the video and upload it into bunch of video sharing sites like youtube, vimeo, metacafe etc. You can use a cool tool called Tube mogul which can be found at www.tubemogul.com or traffic geyser which can be found at www.trafficgeyser.com. Tube mogul is free and traffic geyser is paid so choose any one of them and you can upload your video to bunch of video sharing sites with just a click. Traffic geyser is totally different from Tubemogul and rich featured. Bookmark them and post it onto twitter and facebook. Send it to your list, address book contacts and if possible run a sms campaign for your mobile contacts. Wait for the magic to take place, if you have done a good job you will get qualified visitors, leads which means more sales and more money.

Be careful with your keyword selection. Target the keywords which have got less competition and more searches. If you have done basic optimization your video can show up in google within 10 minutes. Some people have seen the result in 3 minutes too. There are lots of other strategies which must be followed so as to get high rankings of your video. This is basic, but it works.

PS….I knew this is something basic, but I thought this may help the starters. My next post will be on how to distribute your video strategically and get massive value out of it.
