More disabled across the country are leading independent lives with dignity

Mamtha, a physically disabled girl whose father is a milk vendor, was
trained in EnAble India in employability skills and placed as an
Administrative Executive in a Multi National Company. Today, she is
not only economically independent but supports her family as well.
This was due to the efforts from EnAble India like sensitization of
the employer and making sure that accessibility issues would not
hamper her productivity. This is Mamtha’s story.

There many such success stories and many more Mamtha’s who are waiting
to see their dreams fulfilled and for their potential to be realized.
These may be Visually Impaired, Hearing Impaired, Physically disabled
and Mentally ill. They need our help and support to bring out their
potential and lead an independent life with dignity…
